Nestled among the boulders on a remote 10 acre site, this home was designed as a case study for 100% off-grid living. The 3,000 square foot house consists of 2 habitable levels, plus a basement. Special attention was given to site orientation to maximize passive heating and cooling strategies. Interior spaces were designed to open up to the surrounding landscape, encouraging indoor/outdoor relationships throughout.
